Gully charged after police pursuit
Demetrius Darnell Gully, 32, is facing misdemeanor charges after a police pursuit shortly before 5 a.m. Sunday.
Officer Matt Burns attempted to stop a white Toyota Camry near Third Avenue North and Haskell Street, but the car, allegedly driven by Gully, didn’t stop.
After a short pursuit, the car lost control and struck a curb and wooden fence. After a short pursuit on foot, police arrested Gully in front of 303 N. Ninth St.
He is charged with operating while intoxicated and interference with official acts.
