The Fort Dodge Public Library, 424 Central Ave., is holding teen crafternoon from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Friday at the library’s large meeting room. Teens in seventh through 12th grades can try out one of the library’s crafts or bring one from home. Relax, hang out with others and enjoy light snacks. SAC COUNTY — A crash around 7:29 a.m. on Thursday claimed the life of a Wall Lake man, according to an accident report from the Iowa State Patrol. Jeremy Fank, 57, of Carroll, was driving a 2013 Dodge Ram northbound on Union Avenue and attempted to pass a semitrailer. He saw a vehicle approaching and attempted to evade by swerving toward the west ditch. Roy Russom, 90, of Wall Lake, was driving a 2025 Toyota Camry southbound on Union Avenue.
