MANSON -- A Manson man has pleaded guilty in federal court to helping to deal more than five pounds of methamphetamine, prosecutors said.
Tanner T. Rokes, 36, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Iowa.
Federal prosecutors said that he admitted to helping to distribute methamphetamine from 2021 to July 2025. Law enforcement officers made multiple controlled purchases of the drug from him.
On July 15, 2025, officers stopped Rokes for a driving violation. According to prosecutors, the officers saw him throw methamphetamine out of the vehicle's window before he stopped. After he stopped the vehicle, the officers found more methamphetamine in it.
Rokes remains free on bond awaiting sentencing.
