Webster and Hamilton County Conservation Boards are hosting a night hike at 7 p.m. Saturday at Skillet Creek Indian Mounds, Dayton. Enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of the night during this moderate to difficult hike up the hillside. Learn the area history and observe the burial and ceremonial mounds on the hilltop.

All ages are invited. Feel free to bring a flashlight as there is a limited number of flashlights provided. Red covers to place over the flashlights will be provided. Registration is required at www.mycountyparks.com.

Skillet Creek Indian Mounds are located four miles south of Dayton on Iowa Highway 175, one-half mile north on River Road, then turn onto Skillet Creek Road and travel one-half mile. Parking is before the bridge.
