Merrill Family Scholarships announced

The George and Doris Merrill Family Foundation 5M Scholarship Fund administered through the Fort Dodge Community Foundation has announced 33 scholarship awards to area students who are attending college during the 2025-2026 academic year.

Students receiving new scholarship awards include: Elliot Carlson, Humboldt; Addison Daniel, Fort Dodge; Cash Deakman, Winona, Minnesota; Beau Klaver, Kamrar; Lacey Larson, Fort Dodge; Kara McGonegle, Fort Dodge; Levi Odor-Westrum, Duncombe; Cody Seiser, Webster City; Carter Woodruff, Fort Dodge.

Students receiving renewal scholarship awards include: Tanner Abbas, Kanawha; Brylie Anderson, Ames; Kyra Anderson, Ames; Nora Carlson, Humboldt; Sophia Carlson, Fort Dodge; Katelyn Casady, Webster City; Carson Doolittle, Webster City; Miranda Finnegan, Otho; Sophie Fuller, Fort Dodge; Sydney Gebers, Badger; Madysen Halverson, Fort Dodge; Silvia Heldorfer, Badger; Madeline Kaufman, Gilmore City; Jack Mason, Duncombe; Bailey McLaughlin, Jamaica; Alyxis Mericle, Fort Dodge; Bonnie Nohrenberg, Webster City; Ellenor O’Hearn, Webster City; Keren De Moraes Pontes, Badger; Tyler Schachtner, Lohrville; Rori Snethen, Webster City; Michael Wagner, Fort Dodge; Riley Walker, Webster City; Evan Zeka, Fort Dodge.
