Man arrested for hiding in women’s restroom
A Fort Dodge man is facing criminal charges because sheriff’s deputies say he hid in a bathroom to look at women.
Mark M. Martinson, 51, of 328 Ave. M West, is charged with four counts of invasion of privacy, according to court records.
In criminal complaints filed against him, Webster County sheriff’s deputies wrote that at 7:55 p.m. May 18, Martinson went into a women’s restroom at Marker 126 along U.S. Highway 20 and hid in a stall. He then observed the women in the restroom, the deputies wrote.
He was arrested Wednesday and made his initial appearance in Webster County Magistrate Court Thursday.
Magistrate William H. Habhab set a preliminary hearing for June 27. He set Martinson’s bond at $8,000 cash or surety.
