ALGONA -- According to an accident report from the Iowa State Patrol, Adam Allen, 42, of Pocahontas will killed in a crash around 1 p.m. Sunday.
Allen was traveling westbound on a 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle on Iowa Highway 18 near 160th Avenue, east of Algona. A southbound 2024 Nissan Sentra entered the intersection without yielding at a stop sign.
The 17-year-old driver of the Nissan is from Ackley and was not identified in the accident report. The driver was transported by Life Flight to MercyOne Medical Center in Mason City.
The Iowa State Patrol was assisted by the Kossuth County Sheriff's Office, Algona Police Department and Algona Fire/EMS.
