Flood watch issued for Stratford
A flood watch has been issued for the Des Moines River near Stratford, according to the National Weather Service.
The watch will be in effect from this afternoon until 1 a.m. Saturday. The watch means flooding is possible.
At 10 a.m. Thursday, the river near Stratford was at 17.3 feet. Flood stage is considered to be 19 feet.
Flood warnings in Humboldt County have been extended.
The warning for northern Humboldt County along the east fork of the Des Moines River has been extended until Monday.
The warning for southern Humboldt County has been extended until Tuesday.
