Anyone interested in attending one of the nation's military academies is invited to learn more about them during an event this week.
The Military Academy Day will begin at 4:30 p.m. Thursday in the Greehey Family Student Success Center at Iowa Central Community College.
Representatives of the Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado; Coast Guard Academy, New London, Connecticut; Military Academy, West Point, New York; Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point, New York; and Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland; will be present.
The Military Academy Day was organized by U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra, R-Hull.
