Military Academy Day is Thursday
Anyone interested in attending one of the nation’s military academies is invited to learn more about them during an event this week.
The Military Academy Day will begin at 4:30 p.m. Thursday in the Greehey Family Student Success Center at Iowa Central Community College.
Representatives of the Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado; Coast Guard Academy, New London, Connecticut; Military Academy, West Point, New York; Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point, New York; and Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland; will be present.
The Military Academy Day was organized by U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra, R-Hull.
