One injured in Wright County crash
EAGLE GROVE — The driver of a semitrailer sustained minor injuries after a collision that involved a farm tractor hauling a farm implement on Iowa Highway 17 on Thursday evening.
According to Wright County Sheriff’s Deputy Tony Pieczko, the semi driver was transported to a local hospital via ambulance and was later released.
The accident remains under investigation.
The regional hazardous materials team from the Fort Dodge Fire Department was called to the crash because of a diesel fuel spill.
