Supervisors OK vehicle purchases
The Webster County Board of Supervisors approved the purchase of a new dump trailer and two new pickup trucks for the Webster County Roads Department on Tuesday.
The $17,900 dump trailer from Trailer World LLC, of Fort Dodge, has two 8,000-pound axles and will double as a skid loader trailer, County Engineer Jamie Johll told the board.
The Roads Department will also be purchasing two 2024 Ford F-350 pickup trucks for a total of $107,074 from Fort Dodge Ford Lincoln Toyota.
Kemna Auto of Fort Dodge also submitted bids for two 2024 GMC Sierra pickups for $116,296.
The purchases are part of the department’s Fiscal Year 2024 budget, Johll said.
