Supervisors OK Ag Park land purchase
The Webster County Board of Supervisors approved the $8 million purchase of 265 acres of land near Iowa’s Crossroads of Global Innovation ag industrial park west of Fort Dodge on Tuesday.
The purchase is for land currently owned by the George F. Murphy Trust along Iowa Highway 7. According to the resolution passed by the board, the purchase was made “in an effort to remain a competitive location for future projects.”
The resolution passed unanimously.
