Monson to join Sheriff’s Office
Fort Dodge Police Department Officer Colton Monson will be joining the Webster County Sheriff’s Office as a deputy at the end of the month.
The Webster County Board of Supervisors approved Monson’s hiring during its Tuesday meeting. Monson will be hired to fill the new position that was created when the WCSO began its contract to provide full-time law enforcement coverage for the city of Dayton. He is expected to start Aug. 30.
