FD man charged with sex abuse
A Fort Dodge man is accused of sexually assaulting a juvenile female last fall.
According to court records, Eric Curtis Chapman, 42, is charged with one count of second-degree sexual abuse, a Class B felony.
The alleged offense happened at a Fort Dodge residence in September 2022.
Chapman had his initial appearance in Webster County Magistrate Court on Monday. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 30. Chapman is being held in the Webster County Jail on a $25,000 cash or surety bond.
