Supervisors OK DOT grant applications
The Webster County Board of Supervisors approved two grant applications to the state’s Department of Transportation Traffic Safety Improvement Program on Tuesday.
The grant applications, submitted by Webster County Engineer Jamie Johll, are for portable traffic signals and sign materials.
The DOT’s TSIP distributes funds for roadway safety improvements, traffic control devices, studies and outreach. The grant applications being sent by Webster County are for Fiscal Year 2024.
For FY2023, the DOT awarded nearly $7 million in TSIP grants.
