New EMT, officer hired in Fort Dodge
A new emergency medical technician and a police officer were hired by the Fort Dodge City Council Monday.
Nicholas Jordan is the newest Fire Department EMT. He is certified as an EMT and Firefighter I. He is also trained in hazardous materials awareness and operations.
Dominic Morriss, of Clare, is the newest police officer. He is a 2017 graduate of Manson Northwest Webster High School and is a staff sergeant in the Iowa Army National Guard. He most recently worked at Prestage Foods in Eagle Grove.
Both men fill vacancies in their departments.
