The FDSH speech team will present its Large Group Speech Showcase tonight in the Fort Dodge Senior High Little Theater.

The Showcase begins at 6:30 p.m.

“We’ll start out in the auditorium and give parents in attendance the information for what to expect at contest Saturday,” said Lindey Krug, FDSH instructor. “Then because our team is fairly large, we split into two to three rooms and perform a variety of events.

“We typically hold it the night before districts so that the kids can get their nerves out before competing.”

This will be the final opportunity for the students to practice their pieces before they compete at the District Large Group Speech contest in Manson on Saturday.
