Street closures, water shutoff planned in Fort Dodge

A portion of 21st Street and Central Avenue, shown in this map, will be shut off for a city project.
A water main valve replacement project will cause parts of two Fort Dodge streets to be closed beginning today, according to the Public Works Department.
Water service to the area will be shut off on Wednesday.
Public works crews will close 21st Street between Second Avenue South and First Avenue North.
Central Avenue between 20th and 21st streets will also be closed.
Water service to these areas will be shut off at 7 a.m. Wednesday:
• 21st Street between Central Avenue and Second Avenue South
• Second Avenue South between 20th and 21st streets
• South 20th Street, one half block south of Second Avenue South.
