Badger Lake public information meeting Thursday
The Webster County Conservation Board and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources fisheries staff are hosting an informational meeting regarding Badger Lake at John F. Kennedy Memorial Park at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Bob Heun Shelter, 1415 Nelson Ave.
The meeting will provide a brief history of Badger Lake and recent challenges. The Conservation Board and DNR staff will present options for potential lake renovation projects that will be considered by the Conservation Board. The public is encouraged to attend to provide comments regarding the lake and the proposed projects.
