KYL announces phased reopening

WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library board and staff have developed a phased reopening of the library. The library will be open reduced hours: 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

Patrons are required to wear a face mask and will be allowed 30 minutes or less in the building. You must schedule an appointment to use the library. The library is limited to 15 patrons within the building at one time. A limited number of computers will be available but in-person computer assistance is not available at this time. Children under 14 years and younger MUST be accompanied by and in the presence of a responsible adult at all times.

Please refrain from using library services if you are experiencing of the following symptoms: fever of 100 degree or more, chronic coughing and/or sneezing, shortness of breath, or any other flu-like symptoms. If possible, please reserve your items prior to your appointment. Your materials will be ready for you when you arrive. Curbside pickup is still strongly encouraged. All returned items should be place in the outside drop box. This may change based on current COVID-19 restrictions.
