Due to current weather conditions, the North Central Iowa Regional Solid Waste Agency has announced it did not open the following facilities Tuesday: landfill, recycling center and hazardous household materials. As a result, garbage collection for the city of Fort Dodge will be delayed.

The sanitation schedule for the remainder of the week will be as follows:

• Today Recycling – East of 15th Street (those east of 15th Street, excluding Orchard Glen, Rolling Hills, 170th Street, and the area from the Canadian National Railway tracks to Patterson Field Road.)

• Thursday — Tuesday Garbage Collection Route — Everything south of Central Avenue on the west side of 15th Street and south of Second Avenue North on the east side of 15th Street.

• Friday — Thursday Garbage Collection Route – North of Central Avenue and west of 15th Street, including Orchard Glen, Rolling Hills and 170th Street.
