Electrical outage reported in Manson, power restored
MANSON — About 1,200 MidAmerican Energy customers in Calhoun County were without power Tuesday afternoon.
According to Tina Hoffman, a spokesperson for MidAmerican, there was an “animal contact” in the substation near Manson shortly before 1 p.m. Tuesday, causing the power outage.
Crews were working on restoring electricity to the area and the power was restored shortly before 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
