Panel recommends approval for dividing property
Property in the Williams Bend neighborhood of Fort Dodge that was intended to be the site of a storm water detention pond will probably become part of the yards of neighboring homes.
The city’s Plan and Zoning Commission on Tuesday recommended approval of a plan to subdivide the site, with the goal of eventually selling pieces of it to adjacent homeowners.
The property is near 21st Avenue North and 14th Street.
The proposal now goes to the City Council for final action.
