In observance of Thanksgiving on Nov. 26, refuse collection routes for Fort Dodge will be as follows:

• Refuse normally collected on what will be Thanksgiving Day will be collected on Nov. 27.

• Monday and Tuesday refuse collection routes will be on the normal schedule.

• Recycling collection for residents west of 15th Street will be on the normal schedule.

• The Central Maintenance Facility yard waste site will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. Weather permitting, it will be open from 8 a.m. to noon on Nov. 27 and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 28, which will be the last day it will be open for the season.

The Sanitation Division requests that residents place their refuse and recyclables for collection by 6 a.m. on these dates.
