A man suffered non-life-threatening injuries on Monday evening after his Honda motorcycle hit a curb near the former Fair Oaks Middle School.

According to Fort Dodge Police Department Sgt. Jody Chansler, the man, who was not identified, was traveling westbound on Kenyon Road, just west of South 12th Street, when he hit the curb and fell off the motorcycle. No other vehicles were involved, Chansler said.

The motorcycle rider was taken to UnityPoint Health – Trinity Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Chansler said there is unlikely to be any citations as a result of this incident.

Fort Dodge firefighters also responded to the crash, which happened at about 6:55 p.m.
