The Fort Dodge City Council will tackle the proposed 2020-2021 budget and a paving project Monday night in a new meeting format prompted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m., but it will be held in an electronic format rather than a meeting in the Municipal Building.

During the meeting, the council will act on the proposed $93 million budget.

It will also consider a roughly $542,000 street paving contract and a grant to help pay for expansion of the Community Early Childhood Center.
