Community Health Center increases hours

In response to the COVID-19 virus, the Community Health Center of Fort Dodge, 126 N. 10th St., will increase its days of operation to seven days a week starting immediately in the medical department.

The clinic’s temporary increase will include being open on Saturday and Sunday.

Hours of operation will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The increased hours apply only to the medical department.

The dental and behavioral health departments will be operating Monday through Friday as usual.

A dedicated phone number for COVID-19 questions has been established at 515-576-6562.

All patients and visitors to the clinic will have their temperature taken at the door, as extra precautions are in place.

If you are running a fever please call ahead to be screened over the phone.

Those needing to come to the clinic with a known fever will be directed to enter though an alternate entrance to avoid contact with others.

The Community Health Center offers medical, dental and behavioral health services to the community.

These services are offered regardless of insurance status. Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance is accepted. A sliding fee scale is available for those who qualify.
