Vaala to speak about Lotus Community Project at Lunch and Learn
Ashley Vaala, executive director of the Lotus Community Project, will be speaking during the monthly Lunch and Learn.
The Lunch and Learn is from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1615 N. 15th St.
Vaala will present on Lotus, an emergency shelter for women and children in the Fort Dodge area. Lindsay Alstott, owner of Pallet Junkie, will teach how to paint a Valentine painting.
Cost of project is $25 with part of proceeds going towards Lotus. Lunch will be provided by Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
