An audit report on Prairie Lakes Area Education Agency in Fort Dodge has been released.
Schnurr and Company, LLP, reported that the agency had revenues of $25,758,678 for the year ended June 30, 2019, a 0.27% increase from the prior year. That included $8,477,668 from local sources, $8,281,271 from state sources and $8,999,739 in federal sources.
Agency expenses for the year ended June 30, 2019, totaled $24,730,293, a 2.52% decrease from the prior year, and these included $1,053,548 for instruction, $15,672,869 for student support services and $3,386,156 for instructional staff support services.
