Passow named to Webster County Telecom board
Clare Mayor Barb Passow was named to the Webster County Telecommunications Board on Thursday.
Passow replaces Steve Elifrits, of Dayton, who resigned from the board.
The board previously accepted nominations from the county stakeholders to fill the open seat.
Passow and Larry Dunbar, of Badger, were the only two names received.
The two names were placed in a hat during the regular meeting on Thursday. Bruce McCormack, of Gowrie, a current member of the board, drew Passow’s name from the hat.
Her placement on the board is effective immediately.
