Due to the President’s Day holiday, garbage and recycling collection routes for the city of Fort Dodge will be as follows:

• Garbage normally collected on Monday, Feb. 17 will be collected on Tuesday, Feb. 18.

• Garbage normally collected on Tuesday, Feb. 18 will be collected on Thursday, Feb. 20.

ª Garbage normally collected on Thursday, Feb. 20 will be collected on Friday, Feb. 21.

The recycling route for Wednesday, Feb. 19 (for those west of 15th Street and including Orchard Glen, Rolling Hills, 170th Street, and the area from the CNRR tracks south to Patterson Field Road) will be collected as normal.

The Sanitation Division requests that residents place their garbage and recyclables for collection by 6 a.m. on these dates.
