Farrell donates $4,500 to Serving Our Servants
Heather Farrell, who started a fundraiser for the late Rev. Al Henderson, recently donated the proceeds to Serving Our Servants.
Farrell, of Fort Dodge, and Optic Ink sold T-shirts in honor of Henderson until they sold out. Farrell was able to donate about $4,500 to SOS, a group that supports public servants in the Fort Dodge area.
Henderson died on Oct. 2 after he was attacked outside of St. Paul Lutheran Church, the same church he served for 20 years. He was 64.
Those who still wish to buy a T-shirt will be able to do so in February, Farrell said.
At that time, she plans to re-open a webstore where people can place orders.
