Due to the Christmas and New Year holidays, recycling collection routes for the city of Fort Dodge will be as follows:

Christmas holiday, Dec. 25

The Wednesday recycling route will be collected on Dec. 27 for those customers west of 15th Street. The garbage routes will be on the normal days for pickup.

New Year holiday, Jan. 1

The Wednesday recycling route will be collected on Jan. 3 for those customers east of 15th Street. The garbage routes will be on the normal days for pickup.

The Sanitation Division requests that residents place their refuse out for collection by 6 a.m. Due to the holiday schedule, Sanitation Division will not make any return trips for refuse or recycling collection. Refuse placed out later than 6 a.m. will not be picked up until the following week.
