Peoples Credit Union is celebrating the opening of its newly constructed branch at 1717 Fifth Ave. S. by donating to a local nonprofit.

The credit union is asking for the public to vote on which organization should receive $1,000.

The three organizations nominated for the donation include: Beacon of Hope, Domestic/Sexual Assault Outreach Center and Twin Rivers Habitat for Humanity.
