A town hall meeting about opioids will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the City Council chambers in the Municipal Building, 819 First Ave. S.

The panel includes Peter Komendowski, Partnership for a Healthy Iowa; Carrie Cook, Community & Family Resources; Mandi Crouse-Kelley, YWCA of Fort Dodge; John Daniel Jr., Daniel Pharmacy; Sgt. Don McLaren, Fort Dodge Police Department; Denise Ryder, parent and community member; Chief Deputy Rod Strait, Webster County Sheriff’s Office; and Shelby Wiley, UnityPoint Health.

Following the panel presentation, the panel will discuss questions from the audience.

The event is hosted by the North Central Iowa Opioid Task Force.
