Manson Meridian Singers to hold meet and greet Saturday

MANSON– Anyone who loves to sing and is looking for others who share that passion is invited to a special meet and greet event, hosted by the Manson Meridian Singers.

The meet and greet will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Manson Mennonite Church, 1310 Eighth St., Manson.

This come-and-go event is an opportunity for new and returning singers to get to know the Meridians’ new director, Mary Jo Laupp, and accompanist Trish Mernka, as well as to learn what the group is all about and meet other members.

A signup sheet will be available for those who are interested in joining.

Refreshments will be served, and there may be opportunities for singing, as well.

The Manson Meridian Singers’ season will officially begin Sept. 19. Rehearsals are at 7:30 p.m. each week in the Manson Northwest Webster High School choir room.

The group meets on Thursdays from mid-September through December, and twice a week starting in January until show time. This year’s performances are scheduled for Feb. 6, 8 and 9 at Manson Northwest Webster High School.
