Catigbe earns blue ribbons at State Fair
Nanette Catigbe took home four ribbons at the Iowa State Fair on Monday.
Catigbe, of Fort Dodge, makes specialty cakes including portrait cakes through her business called Mucchio di Bella Pastries and Art.
She was featured in The Messenger on July 28.
Catigbe competed in the Cake Decorating Competition, professional division at the fair.
She earned a blue ribbon in the tiered cake category. She earned another blue ribbon for the cookies and cakes category.
Catigbe also earned a red ribbon for single cake category and a white ribbon for sculpted cake category.
Her cakes will be exhibited at the Iowa State Fair Aug. 8-18.
