FD water main flushing continues
Fort Dodge city crews are now flushing water mains in a northern section of the city, according to the Public Works Department.
The flushing will be done between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. through May 3.
The affected area is bordered by the intersection of 12th Avenue North and Ninth Street east to North 15th Street, north to 21st Avenue North, west to River Forest Drive, south to North Eighth Street and Wraywood Drive then south to the intersection of 12th Avenue North and Ninth Street.
Residents may experience discolored water while the flushing is underway. Anyone experiencing rusty water should call the Water Department at 573-7156.
