Iowa Central audit released

An audit report on Iowa Central Community College has been released by Schnurr & Co. LLP, of Fort Dodge.

The audit report shows that the college’s primary operating revenues totaled $39,879,198 for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2018. That’s an 8.35 percent increase from the prior year, according to the accountants.

The revenues included $16,214,424 from auxiliary enterprises, $15,737,746 from tuition and fees, and $1,744,724 from the federal government.

Operating expenses for the year totaled $67,717,453, according to the audit report. That’s a 2.65 percent increase.

The operating expenses included $31,971,958 for salaries and benefits, $19,197,736 for services and $5,066,783 for materials and supplies.
