Board of Adjustment approves expansion
The city’s Board of Adjustment has approved a request to allow for the expansion of the John W. Pray Water Facility as part of a project to reduce the hardness of water in Fort Dodge.
The request was approved unanimously and without discussion Wednesday evening.
The city has already purchased reverse osmosis equipment that will be installed at the facility.
That equipment will go in an addition to be built onto the north end of the water facility on Phinney Park Drive.
The process will reduce the hardness of Fort Dodge water from 26 grains of hardness to seven.
