Humburg tapped by Gov. Reynolds for state post
HUMBOLDT — A Humboldt woman has been nominated by Gov. Kim Reynolds to serve on the panel that governs the Iowa Communications Network.
Dawn Humburg has been nominated for the seat on the Iowa Telecommunications and Technology Commission.
She is a professor and coordinator of the accounting program at Iowa Central Community College.
Her appointment is subject to confirmation by the state Senate when it convenes in January.
The Iowa Communications Network is a distance learning and state government broadband system.
