Street project will close Fort Dodge street
Beginning Tuesday, until further notice the 500 block of South 31st Street will be closed to through traffic to complete a street project.
Local traffic will have access.
In conjunction with the 31st Street closure, Fifth Avenue South will be reduced to one lane eastbound from 31st Street to 32nd Street as part of the same project.
Speed limits may be reduced and enforced. Motorists are urged to use an alternate route, caution in the construction area, and to stay alert of traffic control and signage.
