Part of Sixth Avenue North to become two-way
Sixth Avenue North between 22nd Street and Martin Luther King Drive will be closed between 4 a.m. and noon today.
The road is being closed so that lines can be painted to reflect a change to two-way traffic on part of Sixth Avenue North.
This afternoon, Sixth Avenue North between 25th Street and Martin Luther King Drive will open to two-way traffic.
The change will ease access to a new parking lot at the front of Fort Dodge Senior High.
