Gordon Lundberg is Dayton rodeo parade marshal
DAYTON — The Dayton Championship Rodeo parade grand marshal is Gordon Lundberg, of Dayton.
Lundberg is being honored for his service with the Dayton Celebration Committee, his tenure as president of the Dayton Community Club, Dayton City Council, presidency of the Oak Park Golf Board and the Emanuel Lutheran Church’s council. He is currently serving as president of the Dayton Apartments governing board.
He served as co-marshal with his wife, Clarice Lundberg, during the 1988 rodeo.
Lundberg is a U.S. Army veteran and operated Lundberg Plumbing and Heating in Dayton until 2000.
The Dayton Championship Rodeo is Aug. 31, Sept 1 and 2 at 7 p.m. and Sept. 3 at 1:30 p.m. The annual parade is on Sept. 3 at 10 a.m.
