Fort Dodge veteran will be honored in D.C.
A U.S. Army veteran from Fort Dodge will be honored today during the Congressional Baseball Game in Washington, D.C.
James “Sonny” Rivera, will join two other Nestle Purina employees during an on-field military salute midway through the first inning.
Rivera was in the 312th Military Intelligence Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division, at Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas, for seven years.
He has worked at the Fort Dodge Nestle Purina PetCare plant for more than 27 years.
