Christmas Cantata set for First Covenant
The choirs of First Covenant Church will perform the annual Christmas Cantata on Dec. 16 and Dec. 17.
The first performance will be at 5 p.m. Dec. 16.
The second performance will be at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 17.
Both performances will be at the church, 201 Ave. H.
This year’s Christmas Cantata is entitled ”AMEN! Tell It On The Mountain,” according to an announcement from the church. It will feature both the adult and kids choirs.
At the cantata, songs such as ”Adore Him,” ”What a Glorious Night,” and ”Amen, Tell It On the Mountain” will be sung.
Narration will be provided by Joanne and Tim Anderson, Keyla Benanvides, Julie Davis, Bert Bastin and Paul Halverson.
The soloists will be Lee Husske, Tim Anderlik, Carolyn Bergman, Don Bergman, Lisa Flaherty, Denise Halverson and Shanda Kinseth.
The First Covenant Kids Choir will sing ”When God Says It, You Can Believe It,” ”Jesus, Precious Jesus” and ”Could This Be the Day?”
Accompanists will be Shelly Bottorff and Lisa Flaherty on piano and Dean Davis on drums.
Armona Redenius is the choir director.
