OTHO -- Haunted Fire Department will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. TODAY and SATURDAY at the Otho Fire Department. Cost is freewill donation or canned goods for local food pantry.
POMEROY -- Michael Charles and his band will perform from 5 to 8 p.m. on SUNDAY at Byron's, 112 S Main St., Pomeroy. Charles is in the Chicago Blues Hall of Fame under the "Master Blues Artist" category, a 10 times Grammy-elected artist and a long-time touring artist performing at Byron's in Pomeroy for almost two decades.

FORT DODGE --Trick or treat from 9 a.m. to noon SATURDAY at the Matt Cosgrove River's Edge Discovery Center, 20 N. First St. Stop by in your Halloween costume to trick or treat and explore the Discovery Center.
FORT DODGE -- The 16th annual Monsters Ball will be held at 7 p.m. SATURDAY at the Eagles Ballroom, 1018 First Ave. N. Live music from Zimmeroo, Riddled With Class, and Brutal Republic. $10 cover. Costume not required, but there will be a costume contest, as well as games and prizes. All ages event, but ages 21 and over must have ID.
FORT DODGE -- The Fort Museum, 1 Museum Road, will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. TODAY, and noon to 4 p.m. SATURDAY and SUNDAY. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for students and veterans with ID, $4 for children ages 5-17 and free for children ages 4 and younger.
FORT DODGE -- Fort Dodge Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY at 11 N. 25th St. This is the last farmers market of the season.
