WEBSTER CITY -- "Journey of the Forgotten: The Orphans of Hamilton County, Iowa" will be held at 10 a.m. SATURDAY at Southfield Wellness Community, 2416 Des Moines St., Webster City. Author and Certified Genealogist Jill Morelli will guide us through the stories of the orphans that she has included in her book. In the fall of 1890, 46 orphans were delivered to Hamilton County by the Children's Aid Society of New York City. Initially, the names of the children were not revealed, but 17 of the foster parents were. With that basic information, Morelli set about to identify the orphans, write the biographies of each, identify their New York City and foster parents, and publish the findings.
ALGONA -- The 34th annual Autumnfest Craft Show will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. SATURDAY at the Algona Fieldhouse, on the southeast side of the Algona Community Schools campus.

FORT DODGE -- The Fort Museum & Frontier Village will hold Halloween Trunk or Treat from 4 to 6 p.m. on SUNDAY at the Fort, 1 Museum Road.
FORT DODGE -- The Fort Museum, 1 Museum Road, will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. TODAY, and noon to 4 p.m. SATURDAY and SUNDAY. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for students and veterans with ID, $4 for children ages 5-17 and free for children ages 4 and younger.
FORT DODGE -- Fort Dodge Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY at 11 N. 25th St.
FORT DODGE -- Matt Cosgrove River's Edge Discovery Center will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. TODAY and 9 a.m. to noon SATURDAY at 20 N. First St. Free admission.
