ROCKWELL CITY ä A dance will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. SATURDAY at the Calhoun County Museum, 150 High St., Rockwell City. The Al Welsh Orchestra will be providing music for the dance. The cost is a freewill donation.

TWIN LAKES ä Pumpkinfest is being held SATURDAY and SUNDAY at Twin Lakes Bible Camp, 7718 Twin Lakes Road, in Calhoun County. Pumpkinfest hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $7. Attractions include the corn maze, pumpkin patch, corn pool, trolley rides, tire kingdom, the barrel train, rubber ducky races and the pedal car track. There is an additional $5 charge for a ride on the zipline.

WEBSTER CITY ä Patrons of all ages are invited to a historic stroll along Willson Avenue beginning at 10:30 a.m. on SATURDAY in front of the Jane Young House. This stroll will explore the history and architecture of one of the first streets in Webster City. Valerie Rickert will be the local tour guide. Wear comfortable walking shoes.

LAKE CITY ä Lake City Union Church Women will hold an Ice Cream Social from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. SUNDAY at the church. The menu includes pulled pork sandwiches and homemade pie and ice cream for a freewill donation. Carryouts will be available.

In Fort Dodge

FORT DODGE ä Apple Fest will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. SATURDAY and SUNDAY at The Community Orchard, 2237 160th St. Guests can take a trip to the pumpkin patch, try to solve the corn maze and take in other activities at the Back 40 playground. A classic car and truck show will be part of this Saturdayás Apple Fest.

FORT DODGE ä A pet blessing will be held at 2 p.m. SUNDAY in the parking lot of Grace Lutheran Church, 211 S. Ninth St. Bring your leashed or caged pet to be blessed and remember a lawn chair for yourself. Freewill donations will be accepted for the Almost Home Humane Society of North Central Iowa. If there is rain, the event will be moved to the church basement Fellowship Hall.

FORT DODGE ä The Fort Museum, 1 Museum Road, will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. TODAY, and noon to 4 p.m. SATURDAY and SUNDAY. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for students and veterans with ID, $4 for children ages 5-17 and free for children ages 4 and younger.

FORT DODGE ä Fort Dodge Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY at 11 N. 25th St.

FORT DODGE ä Matt Cosgrove Riverás Edge Discovery Center will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. TODAY and 9 a.m. to noon SATURDAY at 20 N. First St. Free admission.

FORT DODGE ä The Cruise to the Woods classic and custom car show is Sunday. Nine cruise routes will merge in Stratford and travel to Lizard Creek Ranch, 1762 Johnson Ave. Gates at Lizard Creek Ranch open at 8 a.m. Prizes will be awarded at 3 p.m.
