Two men were shot very early Saturday morning in Fort Dodge.
Both were taken by ambulance to UnityPoint Health – Trinity Regional Medical Center.
The shooting happened at about 12:30 a.m. in the 300 block of South Fourth Street.
The two men were found on the sidewalk directly in front of the Fourth Street Depot, 300 S. Fourth St.
Multiple gunshots were apparently fired. Vehicles parked on South Fourth Street were damaged and the glass in the front door of Fourth Street Depot appeared to be shot out.
Fort Dodge police, Webster County sheriff’s deputies, the Iowa State Patrol and the Fort Dodge Fire Department responded.
The investigation continued throughout the early morning hours.
